Below are instructions on how to perform the configuration:
SSH Storage Configuration
Add SSH Storage:
- Access the main System > Storages menu > Add SSH storage.
- Fill out the form with the following information:
Description: Name of SSH storage, e.g. "SSH Backup".
IP: IP address of the SSH server, e.g. "172.112.53".
Port: SSH service door, usually "22".
User: User responsible for the SSH connection, for example, "user1".
Directory: Storage directory on the SSH server, for example, "/home/user1/backup".
Compression: Check this option if you want the data to be compressed.
Save Settings:
- After completing all fields, click "Save" to complete.
- Generate and Export Public Key:
- Click the "Edit" button on the added SSH Storage Action column.
- The system will generate a public key that needs to be exported to the remote SSH server.
- Copy the public key and paste it into the authorized keys file located in the user's .ssh directory on the SSH server, for example /home/user1/.ssh/authorized keys.
- Save changes to the authorized keys file.
- Apply Settings:
Access the command queue in Blockbit and apply the changes made.
